A daughter borne of two cultures, Elle is a unique woman with a heavy burden on her shoulders. Born to the Tumet Tribe in Azim, she was mysteriously displaced during her tribe's sacred rite and ended up in Gridania. The out of place little girl was subsequently adopted by the Nightbloom family whose name she now bears. A fierce warrior of the steppe tempered by adolescence in Gridania, she protects that which is dear to her with all of her strength.

Outlook

Second in Command of Security behind Director Daerin, Elle is reliable and loyal to such a degree that the directors are constantly nagging her to take breaks and vacations. She takes her responsibilities seriously and while she is rarely a fun time at a party, she is nevertheless a welcome presence if only to keep things intact. She spends her free time sparring with those willing to risk the bruises she metes out and learning to meditate with Ozbeg Kha... a surrogate father figure.

Elle has experienced much tragedy in her past from losing her first family to magical strangeness to losing her fiance a few weeks before she was to be wed. However, she has begun to heal after receiving closure during one of the most recent Mysterium's adventures. Perhaps if you grow close, she'll tell you about it...

Detailed Description

Elle's strength is deceptive. The woman is capable of lifting and wielding large flamberge swords with a single hand. At the same time, she favors heavy armor which she meticulously maintains. Her piercing white eyes are in sharp contrast to her dark hair which she keeps bundled in a spiky ponytail.

She is soft-spoken and polite, though rarely will she be the first to initiate a conversation. Though quiet and generally content with observing, Elle will quickly transition into a leadership role if she or whatever she is protecting is threatened. A strict believer in punishment for those who do not adhere to the law, Elle is an arbiter of justice and derives great satisfaction from conquering that which she sees as evil.

Early Childhood: Tumet
Elle was originally from the Tumet tribe where she resided there until her tenth birthday. During her tribe's rite of adulthood, she was magically transported away, and assuming she failed the rite... her tribe never looked for her. If you are around Elle's age, you probably know of the woman or at least heard tales of her unfortunate disappearance when she was ten turns old.

Adopted Daugher of the Nightblooms
The second half of her life saw Elle adopted by the Nightbloom family of Gridania. They took in the lost little girl and taught her many talents such as how to read and write. If you hail from Gridania, you certainly know the strange dark-scaled girl that suddenly showed up one day in a city full of Hyur and Elezen.

Widowed Heart
Once betrothed to Ardo Steelturner, a boy from Gridania, he was lost during a voidsent attack near Amdapor. The tragedy was a well known affair, and if you keep your pulse on the affairs of the Serpents of Gridania, you probably heard about the loss of one of their own... and his poor fiance, Elle.

Lieutenant of the Twin Adder
Enlisting with the Twin Adder when she was of age, Elle rose through the ranks with both her natural talent as well as her respect towards an orderly structure. Typically situated in the South Shroud, she was a stern but fair leader of various squads. If you ever took any tours with the Serpents, perhaps you knew of her or had at least heard of her.||

I'm open to roleplaying with just about everyone - Veteran or novice RPer alike. I adore walkups and will do my best to reply. Feel free to whisper me if I don't reply, I may have missed your message in the chat scroll.I only have three real notes about my roleplay:Firstly - I am open to just about any sort of collaboration or introduction, including mature and dark themes... but please clear anything dramatic with me beforehand so I can prepare and make sure the idea is a good fit for both of us!Second - Please respect the IC/OOC boundaries. While I am open to the idea of character romance (and it is my favorite trope!), it is important to distinguish between IC and OOC. I am happily married IRL, and trying to push anything that happens between Elle and your character into an IRL context is the swiftest way to ensure I never want to roleplay with you again.Third - I generally try to stay lore compliant in a public setting to avoid breaking anybody's immersion. FFXIV has a very rich lore, but I am also a firm believer in the 'rule of cool'. My stories might take some creative liberties in regards to various undefined aspects of the lore. The Legatum Mysteria typically has plots that touch on some of the vaguer bits of lore and interpret them. If you prefer only to deal in absolutes in lore, please note that prying into Elle's backstory may not be the greatest fit for you. Otherwise, I absolutely love when others try to learn more about my characters and I will attempt to return the favor of your own character's history!
